The photos don’t do it justice—every angle shows a different shade of blue, like the sea itself. My jeweler confirmed the round cut is flawless at 7.8mm, and it sits beautifully in the setting I picked out. I’ve stared at it more than I’d like to admit since it arrived.
The blue is deeper than the photos suggested, and at 2.15ct it sits with real presence without looking gaudy. I keep catching it in different light and noticing a new shade each time.
